Password: 1234 - For rising K-2nd grades: Read one article from the weekly set aloud each day or listen to the audio. For rising 3rd-8th grades: Children can read one article each day independently. There are more articles in a set than days of camp in a week, so campers can choose which article they read from the set each day.
- Spark family conversation by asking “What did you learn from this article that you thought was interesting and you want to remember?" As a bonus, have your child write or draw in their Book of Knowledge with free writing and drawing templates.

As all teachers know, students who don’t read over the summer will lose the gains everyone has worked hard for all year. This summer, preventing learning loss at home is more important than ever.
This summer ReadWorks is offering a summer reading membership designed for parents and guardians to use with their children entering 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. It will cost each family $15.99 for the whole summer. The program is an 8 week email membership provides nonfiction articles tailored to the level and interests of their child along with high-quality activities to do with their children.
Plus, proceeds go directly to new high-quality materials you can use in school.
