Being an educator is always a busy job. This year, “busy” doesn’t begin to describe it! That’s why we at ReadWorks spent the summer building new tools that solve multiple problems at once—simply and quickly. We’re excited to share our new and improved Article-A-Day Scope & Sequences  The Scope & Sequences help you plan an entire year of the Article-A-Day routine in just a few minutes. Doing so will ensure your students:
Plus, topics are coordinated across grade levels to make school collaboration easier. Currently, the Scope & Sequences are available for Kindergarten through 5th grade, with 6th grade coming soon. “Article-A-Day is a game-changer for my class. This is easy, quick, and lets me hold students’ writing up to my standards. Thank you!” - Sheila, Teacher, NY To use the Scope & Sequences, you’ll need to first create a digital class. Once that’s set up, follow the steps below:
 2. Click Assign and choose what supports you want to include.  3. Choose the students or groups you would like to receive the assignment.  That’s it! Your students will receive each Article-A-Day set on the date specified in their digital classroom. They’ll be able to easily log in, read their Article-A-Day passages, and complete their Books of Knowledge.  You’ll be able to read their responses:  And, new this year, you can leave a response for maximum remote engagement:  Repeat the process for every month you’d like to include. Over time, you’ll notice a meaningful impact on your students' background knowledge, vocabulary, and reading comprehension.
