Does my school or district qualify for financial aid?
READWORKS MAY BE ABLE TO OFFER FINANCIAL AID: Thanks to our funders, in some cases we are able to provide ReadWorks “Advanced Premium” at a reduced cost to schools that have a demonstrated financial need. We have a limited number of scholarships and discounts available from grant funding each year. We prioritize schools in which more than 75% of students receive free or reduced lunch, and aim to provide some support to schools with Title I designation or more than 50% of students receiving free or reduced lunch.

what does gold package entail?
In this live one-hour “Intro to Using ReadWorks” Session scheduled for your team, participants will learn more about ReadWorks’ supplemental resources to support reading instruction. Your team will be introduced to:
- An overview of ReadWorks resources
- How to set up your account and use ReadWorks digitally, printing, and projecting
- Using our reading passages and text-dependent question sets to supplement, ELA, science, and social studies content
- The powerful background knowledge building routine of Article-A-Day
- Providing students their own library for choice reading, research projects, and more through our digital student library
what does platinum package entail?
In addition to the core “Intro to Using ReadWorks” session (further explained in the GOLD Package FAQ), the Platinum package includes planning time with a ReadWorks expert to learn more about your school’s instructional and professional development goals and your staff’s experience (or not!) with ReadWorks. From the planning call, the ReadWorks team will create three additional 1-hour live webinars, held on the ReadWorks webinar platform (Crowdcast), led by a ReadWorks expert and tailored to your goals. These sessions can help teachers refresh or build upon their training on the science of reading research, how that impacts their practice, and how ReadWorks content can be used to support these instructional practices. Offerings include:
- Focus on Early Learners, Grades K-2 (supporting phonics instruction with decodables)
- Differentiating with ReadWorks
- Supplementing core curricula with hand-curated text sets to build background knowledge and vocabulary
- Using ReadWorks in support of Next Generation Science Standards
