“Absolutely the best reading passages––the variety, the comprehension questions, the ability for differentiation, the ease of use...being in a Title I, high-poverty school this is a priceless resource.”

Supporting early learners: ReadWorks has released new, rich decodable texts for early readers (K-2) to practice their word recognition skills while building knowledge in a cohesive, structured manner, which we will expand upon in the upcoming school year.
Developing new supports for English language learners: In partnership with Vanderbilt University’s Center for Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx Studies, our team has developed new, authentic Spanish texts to pair with English passages to improve English reading comprehension for native Spanish speakers.
Delivering personalized support to priority districts and regions: ReadWorks is capitalizing on our strong reputation and curriculum to facilitate closer relationships with priority districts (those where 75% or more of students qualify for free or reduced lunch). We have successfully kicked off strategies in Philadelphia and New York City, and we are in conversations about expanding to Nashville, Newark, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
Moving students to grade-level reading: ReadWorks will launch a new AI-powered recommendation engine to help teachers identify students ready for more challenging materials, moving students to on-grade or above-grade level reading when possible.
