ReadWorks Named a 25 Top Global EdTech Organization

​ReadWorks was recently named one of the Top 25 Global Impact-Certified EdTech Companies in 2025 by EduEvidence. This recognition salutes organizations whose products exemplify leading practice in evidence-based digital education. It is also a trusted signal of quality for governments, school networks, investors, and families seeking high-impact, research-validated EdTech solutions.

Winners were announced January 22, 2026, at BETT, the world’s biggest EdTech event connecting 35,000+ educators, policymakers, and industry changemakers from 130 countries. ReadWorks is honored and proud to be selected!

ReadWorks Launches New Action Research Guide

At ReadWorks, research is essential to our work. We study our impact on teaching and student outcomes and use findings and educator feedback to refine our tools and resources.  
​
Action research is a hands-on, reflective process where teachers identify challenges, test new strategies, and analyze results to improve instruction and make data-informed decisions tailored to student needs.

This new initiative provides free resources for K-2 instructors to conduct action research on building early reading skills in their classrooms. Teachers participating will also contribute to broader knowledge on effectively integrating and selecting decodables to benefit more young readers.

Giving Back to ReadWorks

This month, ReadWorks was lucky to work with an intern from Harvard College. Giancarla Burgos-Pena, a junior engineering major from West New York, NJ, wanted to work with us during her winter break for two main reasons: to learn about fundraising and to pay it forward. She supported development efforts by researching funders in our high-priority districts.

Giancarla will put her new skills and knowledge to work in college ,where she helps fundraise for Harvard's student chapter of Engineers Without Borders. We are grateful for her time, enthusiasm, and service to ReadWorks. 

"As a middle school student, I remember using ReadWorks in the classroom to improve my reading comprehension, so it was really meaningful to intern with the organization that offers a powerful platform for students like myself who may not have access to pay for these educational resources.

During my time with the team, I supported fundraising research to help expand ReadWorks’ supporter network. This gave me valuable insight into how the organization is able to extend its impact across the nation.

Even in such a short time, it was very impressive to see all the care and dedication that goes into creating an accessible, high-quality product."
